How long does a groom take?

It depends on your dog's breed, size, and coat condition. A full groom typically takes between 1.5 to 3 hours. We'll give you a more accurate time estimate when you book.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, we recommend booking ahead as spots fill up quickly. You can book online or get in touch with Mel directly to check availability.

My dog is nervous around grooming, is that okay?

Absolutely. Shampooch Parlour is a calm, home-based salon where your dog gets one-on-one attention the entire time. We work at your dog's pace to make the experience as stress-free as possible.

What should I do to prepare my dog before their appointment?

We recommend giving your dog a short walk beforehand to help them relax. Please also make sure they have had a chance to go to the toilet before arriving. Avoid feeding a large meal right before the appointment.

What breeds do you groom?

We groom all breeds and sizes, from small toy breeds to large dogs. If you have a specific breed or coat type and want to check, feel free to reach out and we'll be happy to help.
